1 cup softened butter (2 sticks) 1 3/4 cup sucanat 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups Summers Organic Sprouted Wheat Flour 1/2 cup Green & Black's organic cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking soda Beat all these ingredients together, then stir in: 2 cups organic chocolate chips (one package) 1 cup soaked pecans (soak overnight or for at least 6 hours). Do not dehydrate water out of pecans. Just rinse/drain and add soaked pecans. The cooking dries them out and it adds moisture to the cookies.
Heat oven to 375 F. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and cook for about 10 - 12 minutes.
